Concerns of Police Survivors

WNY COPS chapter began in 1998 to form the 1st chapter in NYS. We cover 8 counties (Alleghany, Cattraraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans, Wyoming).

The WNY C.O.P.S. chapter is a non-profit organization, which provides resources to assist in the rebuilding of the lives of surviving families of law enforcement officers killed in the line-of-duty as determined by Federal criteria. WNY C.O.P.S. provides emotional and financial support as well as legal assistance to survivors of fallen officers.

Our Mission

Rebuilding shattered lives of survivors and co-workers affected by line of duty deaths, through partnerships with law enforcement and the community.

Blessed are the peacemakers,

for they will be called children of God.

— Matthew 5:9, NIV
